OKE RWX storage

Hi all,
I have tried the and i was able to configure this but I have very poor performance on jenkins agents which use this RWX storage to store docker layers for caching.
Is there a way to improve the performance of the storage or use an open-source solution to get the RWX storage that is usable in this case?
