Ways to disable Chat for customers

Is there a way to disable the chat for the customers other than the Chat Hours setup.

We dont want to go to chat hours screen setup everytime when we dont want our customers to refrain from chat and need a capability to switch on/off the chat at will in one go for all the days till the time we decide to again activate it for customers and keep flipping it.
