Can we derive a Contract Variable values from a related contract?

Business Requirement: We have a requirement to maintain related contracts like- MSA Type Contracts should be related to their SOW Type Contracts. To achieve it effectively Clients want the Variables on SOW Contract Term Templates to be populated from the fields in the MSA Contracts. Is this achievable in Cloud? If Not, can you provide some alternative to it.
