Decimal separator settings not correctly working

Hello,

We opened an SR because the decimal separator settings seems to not correctly work.

We changed the internal user number format from ####,## to ####.##

However, when in a configuration we put in a currency field for example 500.5 it becomes 5.0005,00 while if we put 500,5 it is correctly taken but we would like to have the dot as separator between decimals.

How can we solve it?
