Can we add a filter to avoid Alerts when assigning a past offering?

Hello everyone,

I have the following requirement from the client:

• Learning Specialist creates a course
• Add an offering placed in the past
• Then, enroll the learners into the offerings and put the activities as completed

The question is: will the Learners enrolled in a completed offering placed in the past receive the alert for a new learning assignment? Is it possible to add a filter to avoid this situation?
