Summary:

For Oracle Cloud what is the solution for assigning items to multiple product families that will also scale over time?

We only use PIM now.

The on-premise app use to have a Category for Product Family and key flexfield could be multiple segments. This supported 1 to Many and value set could scale. This no longer exists.

Item Classes does not seem to support this.
What is the seeded solution as I am sure many companies have parts that are shared across product families.
