How to configure role-based conditions on Approval Rules?

edited Jun 7, 2024 7:44AM in Human Capital Management 2 comments

Hi,

How can we configure two rules which corresponds following conditions :

  1. If requestor has the role "Human Resource Specialist" …
  2. If requestor doesn't have the role "Human Resource Specialist" …

We have configured it as below :

Rule1 : (Requestor's Role Details.Role Name == "Human Resource Specialist")

Rule2 : (Requestor's Role Details.Role Name != "Human Resource Specialist")

But this configuration did not work. When we request a transaction from a user which has Human Resource Specialist role, the approval goes with both of the rules.

Requester User role details :

Transaction :

Every condition has only one approver user. Above screenshot means the transaction goes with both of the rules.

Howdy, Stranger!
