How NPI Works in case of Aggregated Sales and Operations Plan(S&OP Plan)?

Hi Team,

I want to understand how do we do NPI in Aggregated S&OP Plan(Product Family level S&OP Plan). Does it work on category level meaning we will forecast from one source category to new product category, or this will happen at Item level? If at Item level I am not able to select the Source Item because BOR is at category level. I want to know how the forecast will come to New Product. ?
