Areas of Responsibility with multiple assignments

We have multiple assignments, so when one ends, another one will start
The issue we have, is when we give areas of resopnsibility to a person, it is on assignment level, so when one assignment ends, and the new one starts, the person doesn't have a area of responsibility, we have to manually register the area of responsibility again on the new assignment

Is there a way to auto transfer areas of responsibility across assignments for a person?
Or give the responsibility on a person level not assignment?
