Terminated Employee absence record showing active contingent worker absence data

We observed absence record showing unpaid leaves (that are tagged to contingent worker assignment) for terminated employee assignment

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

For ex: Employee E12345, Assignment Name is ABCD is terminated as of Jan 15, 2024 . Effective from Feb 01, 2024, the same person hired as contingent worker(CW) C12345 with same assignment name ABCD. Now CW is getting unpaid leave from Mar 01, 2024 to Mar 10, 2024. We are seeing this when we navigate through absence record, we see the it. When we select terminated assignment also this leave is getting displayed. This is kind of misleading. We are not supposed to see this leave in Terminated employee absence record even though the assignment name is same.
