Smartview manifest files - is anyone creating these and is it easy to maintain?

In the latest May24 release notes there are a few items that require updating or creating a manifest file for smartview in order to use these features.

Is anyone using manifest files for the smartview users and if so do you need to create one for each application PROD & TEST instance and for FCC and Planning? Also, how easy is it to maintain and deploy to users when new users join and install smartview and when Oracle roll out more new features that require the manifest updated? Thanks.
