Is it ok to delete a dimension mapping for the Export Project Budgets integration?

We have a single currency EPM Planning application, which we have integrated with a ERP Project Management application. Currently, the out-of-box Export Project Budgets integration is failing due to the Planning Currency dimension in Project Management not being mapped to a dimension in EPM Planning.

Seeing as our EPM Planning application is single currency, and does not have a currency dimension, would deleting this dimension mapping help resolve the issue of the integration failing, or is there another way?
