Inactivate Secondary Positions when primary is Active
Summary:
We have a setup that Entails a Team Member (TM) being assigned to a Primary position with a specific pay and in some cases a TM can also work a secondary job with different pay, so they are assigned a secondary assignment. Some of these secondary assignments are temporary and when they are no longer needed, we change the Assignment status to inactive - no payroll.
There are cases where the secondary assignments will never be utilized again in the future and we want to inactivate the position record entirely. However, because the secondary assignment is still linked to the TM record with an Active Primary Assignment - Oracle does not let us inactivate the secondary position/assignment.
