External Auditors Testing Smartview

Hello Community,

 Our external auditors want to test the completeness and accuracy of Smartview. Their concern is that they can't get comfortable with the completeness and accuracy of the IPE because the data can be manipulated in excel and there is not a way to verify that the data was pulled correctly from the Oracle database since we do not have access to Oracle's code.

Our auditors have questioned "How do we know Smartview is properly pulling data from the database? What if the FCC database says $100 in revenue, but Smartview pulls $50 because its not working correctly?

 

We have reviewed Oracle's SOC I as relates to Smartview, but unfortunately there is no language supporting the testing of Smartview.
