Can we add substitute component/alternate resource in Category BOR for Critical Components/Resource?

Summary:

Can we add substitute component or alternate resource in BOR at Category level for Critical Components and Resource?

While loading BOR I observed that it gives error saying Produced Item level is required even though we are not loading it at Item Level.

When I used the Dummy Item Name which Planning created for category again it gave error that Item doesn't exist or is a Dummy Item.

Let me know if any work around for this.
