What is the Web report Gen2 data pull limitation?

Summary:

We have multiple companies and have huge data in the system. For example Inbound transactions and data for years. If we want to build a historical report for 2 years, does the system support this? Need to pull thousands of line data. Is there any time out or is that good practice to pull data through a Web report if the data is huge?
