CPQ Quote Versions

Summary: Quote versions is a powerful tool for Sales Users. This helps them create multiple versions with different configurations, generate proposals and share them with end customers. Customer can finalize a proposal and sales user will submit that particular version.

Current Process: Client is using OOTB versioning for change order automation with OM.

Ex: Version 1 is original quote submitted to OM

Any version greater than 1 is a change order

Version 2 is change order

Version 3 is change order…

Requirement: Need versioning for sales process without disturbing current process.

Ex: Version 1 is original quote

Sales user will revise and create version 1.1

Sales user will revise and create version 1.2
