Have organizations noticed when a miscellaneous project entry is completed that no error message appears if the project is setup with a project type associated with an award but the award has not been setup, therefore the budget has not been setup?
We are experiencing an issue when a person completes a miscellaneous project entry via ADFDI where a project is associated with a project type with an award but the award and award/project budget are not setup. The project number will be included in the ADFDI entry amongst many lines. When the entry is reviewed for errors no warnings or errors appear however the amount does not post to the project where the award and project budget are missing. Have others experienced this situation? If so, what work arounds have you put in place? Or is this an Oracle bug? Thanks.
