How to make an Item inactive in WMS?

As per our business requirement, we want to remain the structure of the item but for a time being that item should be inactive status. That means, no operation should be performed on this item like CC, allocation etc. I searched for this item in the WMS item attributes, not able to find that type of option. Can you please let us know whether this type of option available or not.
