What privileges need to be assigned in order for employees to access Redwood My Spotlight?

I'm following the steps here: to enable the Redwood 'My Spotlight' page. It's working fine from my account, but not for users with only our custom employee role assigned to them (generating 'Error response during RestAction').
We've had the same error message on other Redwood pages, and it was because the correct privileges hadn't been added to the employee role, but I don't know what privilege to add for this - can anyone advise?
