Action checks with custom actions or smartlinks

Summary:

Hi,

We need to use the action check validations with custom actions or smartlinks but we have seen there is not Audit action id for this.

The use case is the user click in a custom action the action check validate if the conditions are ok to continues. If there is not ok a pop up is shown warning that the action cannot be completed.

Can you confirm if it is not possible to achieve?

Is there any alternative to achieve similar scenario?
