Use Header flexfields and custom fields in Contract Approval rules

Summary:

In the ContractsApproval Human Workflow, I want to use some Flexfields value to determine the approval groups. E.g. If Flexfield1 > 10%, then I need an additional approval. How can we do this? I have context specific DFF

I also checked to see if we can use custom fields under ContractDetails, but I dont find any custom fields that I have defined in a sandbox and published.

If any of these 2 methods work, then it would be good enough for me. It would be of great help if someone has done this before.
