How to change the accounting date of the Allocation rule to the run date

When I try to run allocation rule, the accounting date of the resulting journal is always the last day of the month.

So If I run the allocation rule today, May 29, 2024, the resulting journal will have May 31, 2024 as its accounting date.

How would I change the accounting date so that it reflects May 29, 2024, the run date?
