When creating a project asset, is there a setting to default the depreciate as unchecked?

Summary:

We have setup a secondary ledger to support the deprecation requirements. When creating a project asset, the depreciate flag defaults as checked. Since we are not depreciating the asset on the primary ledger, is there a configuration/setting to default the depreciate flag as unchecked?
