Hi All,
Based on the your implementation (or support ) experiences , could you please share the best Practices for position based planning in workforce planning.
Our customer uses Positions (Not jobs) in their current compensation planning and in Oracle HCM. The granularity of our workforce module will be EJ (employee-job). We intend to re-purpose our job dimension to reflect the same HCM positions in EPM and We will also leverage the "New hire" functionality to create the vacant positions. In HCM, the position code is not unique per standard position name and has been assigned with some system generated values. ex: "Accountant Technician" position name has multiple position codes (500594,500700,500325 etc) that are assigned to it. Hence we are hoping to leverage the "Position name"
