Project Status field in the Projects Search showing required.

Summary:

One of our team member when navigating to the 'My Projects' Basic or Advanced Search, the Project Status has a double asterisk which I was told was a saved favorite long time ago. The rest of the members who were hired after do not see the double asterisk in the Project Status.

Is there a way we can make the 'Project Status' field to be a required field for filtering data?
