Has Lease asset as part Fusion asset been de-supported and moved to Lease Accounting?

We have a requirement to track leased assets as lessee, It was raised that the functionality in Fixed assets has been de-supported and been moved to Lease accounting module. Is there any notes supporting this claim? Or can we still use the asset module to track leased assets and capitalized?
