Approve Job Offer - Rule with Offer DFF on additional info failing with Null Attribute Error

We have a DFF with LOV under Additional Info which is being used in the Approve Job Offer Approval Rule but the rule is failing with the following error even when the attribute is not null.

'An attribute in the PayDecrease rule has a null value.'
