Min-Max Planning Policy suggestion for parts which are consumed in speicific quarter of an year

Requirement: Customer is manufacturing specific set of assemblies in Q3 but not entire year, for the required raw materials (Safety stock ) to
produce the raw materials needed for Q3 how does system calculates if we are using Min-Max planning policies to calculate the min-max quantities based on demand in a specific quarter or period of a year. Does the system calculates from Q2 on wards till before Q3?

As Dynamic Min-Max planning policies are working on historical days and here we are expecting the system should
be able to suggest safety stock or min-max quantities for business before manufacturing in Q3.
