Prevent Duplicate Leases during Conversion

Summary:

We need to migrate leases. However, Oracle does not provide the functionality to mass approve leases. We need to upload 1000+ leases and thus would like to do so in draft in case of any problems. We were wondering if you could use lease no. or lease name to prevent duplicate leases? Currently when we upload a lease with the same no. again, Oracle overwrites the number and creates a new lease, which leads to duplicate. Is there any way to prevent this duplication?
