Journal Approval failing with Validation Failed status

Summary:

We had to change few approval rules according to client requirement and we changed them. After testing when we changed another rule, all the jounals are being stuck in completed status, I have checked in Transaction Console as well but the journal is not routing to any rule. When checked in BPM worklist by clicking on View Approvals, it is showing only 'Submitted By'

I have validated all the rules, saved, committed. The period I am entering the journals is also Open.

The rules worked fine before but after we made few changes and retested then the issue arised
