How OLC Elearning Player session Time out works

Summary:

The user, they a course & offering and went out for a 15 min break. Post that a message is displayed that Your Content elearning Player session is timeout after 15 min. Business is having query that what is timeout duration and till when the session will be active as long as the course content window is open.
Any idea how the time out functionality in OLC?
