Configuration cannot be saved until the End Node of the Config Flow is reached

Summary:

We have a multi-node configuration flow (1 Start, 28 Transitional, 1 End).

We would like to be able to Add/Save a configuration from any Transitional Config Flow node, not just from the End Node. There is not a Save button on the Transition nodes, only on the End node.

Alternatively, If it's not possible to Save on a Transition Node, is there a way to navigate directly from a Transition Node to the End Node?

Scenarios: Our users sometimes do not have all the information that they need to provide while navigating through the flows. If they have only completed a few of the flows, they need to keep clicking 'Next' to get to the End flow in order to Save the information they've already provided.
