to manage alert and notification for employees with personal e-mail

Hello everyone,
Our customer has some employee without an official company e-mails. These people have a personal e-mail registered in the application. Customer's requirement is to let these employees able to receive notification only at system level and not in their personal e-mail. Is it possible to do it?
Moreover, we have set the alert when people are assigned to a new course, is it possible to avoid that the above people receive the alert/e-mail and let the be warned only with notification at system level? The employees with company e-mail have to receive the alert via e-mail.
