Continuous Smart View Stability Issues - Has anyone solved this? Best practices?
Users in my organization complain of continuous Excel crashing when refreshing Smart View forms and ad hocs. At worst, 10+ crashes a day. At best, a few crashes a month.
This has been occurring for a long time (7+ years) across every version of Smart View during that time, including the latest. We only use Planning in EPM Cloud at this time (no FCCS, no ARCS, Strategic Modeling, etc).
We use Microsoft Office 365 for Enterprise on Windows 11 Enterprise. We use Dell Precision 3581 laptops with Intel i7 Processors and 32BM of RAM.
We uninstall/reinstall Smart View, and sometimes perform a full ("online") Office repair in the middle, which sometimes helps, but sometimes doesn't.
