Can custom person profile data be pulled in Dynamic Skills recommendations?

Hi,

We capture specific skills under person profile types. We have configured key skills using "Competency" template under content sections within Person profile page. We tried to implement Dynamic Skills in dev environment, however, we could not see the recommendations under Skills Center which is based on these custom skills data.

Does anyone know if this custom skill data can be used for recommendations for Skills Center in Dynamic Skills? Any thoughts or guidance will be really helpful.
