P2T Refresh questions

Hello

We have a scheduled a P2T refresh using the new process i.e logging into the cloud portal and scheduling it ourself using that tool
I had some questions around this
1: We're using SSO so the question was how do the admins login to the newly refreshed instance to do Post refresh activities ?
2: Is there a checklist of activities available about what other steps to take once the refresh is complete ? eg set the BPM to make sure emails don't go out from the test instance to users.
