Limitation in Production Scheduling if items do not belong to same category

Summary:

we have seen that the current version(24B) of production scheduling does not support if for example: FG and its semi-finished make item component do not belong to same category as updated in the scheduling options scope. This is a huge limitation; any pointers to how we can mitigate.
