How to make person number as identifier than assignment number in timecard

Summary:

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi Experts,
We have a request from the customer that time card should work on person number basis instead of assignment number.
The reason behind it is, customer will have many global transfers (back dated), where all the time cards effective from global transfer date are getting impacted to update through the time device interface.

So customer is looking for time card , person number level instead of assignment number.

Is it possible to configure the time card in such a way? Kindly advice.

Thank you very much in advance!!

Thanks,
Kavitha
