How can we escape xml parsing for character & (ampersand) in SOAP based OIC integration

Summary:

We have a requirement to pass URL in SOAP response of our integration. The URL contains & (ampersand) character. When we run the integration via SOAP UI, & is changed to '&' and hence the resulted URL in SOAP response is not coming correctly. This is because & is treated as special character in XML which is normal. So, is there a way how we can escape xml parsing for character & (ampersand) in SOAP based OIC integration ??

We have already tried using Replace and disable encoding approach. Both are not working.
