EPM Agent receives job but does not attempt extract

We have a single production database on premises that provides actual data for both PROD and TEST. There is a server on premises that hosts the EPM Agent Services, one each for PROD and TEST. I believe both services are configured correctly since both the PROD and TEST environments in FCCS show the EPMCLUSTER is connected with a single Agent waiting for jobs. Data Integation is configured identically in both PROD and TEST (TEST is a migrated copy of PROD).
