How to process carryover as of the last pay period of the calendar year

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement such that we have to process the carryover at the end of last pay period of the calendar year. For example, we follow a biweekly pay period and the final pay period falls on 25th Dec 2024. We have to make sure that the carryover rules get applied from 26th Dec 2024, not after the end of calendar year.

How can I achieve this? Has anyone worked on this kind of requirement before?
