Summary:

I want to copy EDMCS Prod to Test, however, I have configurations in Test that I want to bring back after the migration since they are not in production and I am still working on them in Test. I created a new Node Set and Hierarchy set (along with viewpoint) for the Geography Dimension.

I thought I could do the following but when loading the Geo template it is erroring out.

  1. Extract the Geo dimension using a template in Test before the Prod to Test migration and download the viewpoint structure
  2. Migrate Prod to Test (this will remove any new configurations for the Geo Dimension that I have been working on in Test but is not in Production
