How to send an alert to offering coordinator when there is change in offering activity?

When the offering activity definition is updated, the standard alert "Offering Activity Definition has Changed for an Instructor" triggers an email alert and a workflow notification for the instructor. To ensure that offering coordinator also receives the same notification, I added an expression in the recipient field as shown in the screenshot below. However, it did not work, and the offering coordinator did not receive any workflow notification.
