Disability Self Disclosure impact in Benefits

Summary:

Currently we have a Disability Self Disclosure (Country dependent) which employees can use via Self Service to specify their disabilities.

Alongside, we also have ME > Benefits > Before you Enroll > Personal Info

Here you can specify Disability Type, Disability Status. I am aware and have got confirmation that data entered on this page is readily available in Benefits for enrollment and other processes.

My question to Oracle ( @Chris Borsh-Oracle ) is - what is the purpose of the self disclosure for disability in Personal Details?

Why are we capturing disabilities in 2 different pages both available under ESS.

Does the disability disclosed from Personal Details anyhow sync to Benefits? Or in other words can benefits tap into the details provided in personal details self disclosure section?
