Initial Value for flexfield SQL : Ability to set it based on the value selected in another flexfield

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hello All,

We have configured 2 flexfields ‘Type de Departement’ and ‘Niveau Departement’. The value of the second flexfield is dependent on the value selected for the first flexfied (independent value set) and it works. However, we would like to configure this second flexfield as a TextArea with the default value set based on the value selected for the first flexfield (This is will prevent the user to select one value from the list of values for the second flexfield). Any idea if this can be achieved ?

Howdy, Stranger!
