Why does the " intermediate_notification " Error Code appear in po_action_history?

While reviewing the po_action_history table in Oracle to analyze the emails sent to suppliers, I frequently notice the " intermediate_notification " code appearing in the Error_code column.

Could you explain why this code appears and what it exactly means?
