The customer needs to let users book Compensation time off in advance on the timecard

Summary:

The customer needs to let users book Compensation time off on say a Friday which will directly enter the Absence time onto the timecard.

Then the employee will clock in / out Mon, Tue, Wed and Thursday using Web Clock. Each day they enter time however the Friday time is a Compensation plan and the Mon, Tue or Wed may have incurred Flex Absence which will add / reduce to the Compensatory plan balance. 

The error we see is "An adjustment can't be made for the compensatory time transaction because the hours have already been used for an existing absence."

 Has anyone else seen this and how did they resolve?
