Hi all,

We have been working to get Proactive Chat ready on our site for the first time. We are using Engagement Engine

We initially had test chats set up, and were passing through everything directly to the chat_landing page rather than the chat_launch page. because we know the customers details in each case, and store them as variables on the page.

We were passing through these custom fields as JS variables

  • Email
  • First Name
  • Last Name

And we were also passing through "Subject" as a custom field with a predefined value (such as "Failed Deposit") depending on the different chat triggers
