Manager receiving two notifications for approval of absence

Summary:

Hello,

Recently we have configured a setup in Time Consumer Set, where we changed the Absence Approval routing from time approval rules to absence approval rules.

After which, we are facing this issue.

Explaining the scenario, when an employee applies for a leave, manager receives a single absence notification. However, manager has not yet approved the absence and the employee submits the timecard too at the very next moment when leave is applied. Timecard approval also goes to same manager. So now the earlier leave is withdrawn, and the new leave notification is being sent twice.

Also to add on, manager needs to approve both notifications to approve the leave. Approving 1 notification is not approving the absence.

Howdy, Stranger!
